Header Primary question

I plan to supercharge down the road...but I can get a set of LT with catted x really cheap but they are 1 3/4 for supercharged applications. The question I have is what gain/loss will I encounter if I dont supercharge right away?

From what ive heard you will actually lose hp with the 1 3/4 cause your not pushing enough hp yet for the bigger holes. ive heard that a certain amount of back pressure is good and if you eliminate it all, theres power lost.

so on the flip side how much do I stand to lose if I stay with 1 5/8 when I go sc?

im not sure but i know its not gonna be as powerful as it can be with the bigger headers.
