Heater Core bypass

just dropped in my new motor and was planning on leaving the coolant bar off .. would it hurt anything to just plug the front of the intake mani and the bottom line on the pump or should you run the line from the pump and to maybe a 90 at the front of the lower intake??

there is a sensor on that bar that tells the computer how warm the coolant is, for this to work you would have to relocate that sensor

Capping off your heater core has no affect on your car overheating. It would be best to eliminate the coolant bar all together in my opinion. You will have to pull the upper intake off to do so but will end up with a much better, cleaner and safer result!
