New to this site. I currently drive a 2010 GT Premium. I bought this car new and cannot believe it has been 8 years. In the past, I have owned a 1970 Mustang and when the S197 came out, had to have one. It was a 2005 six banger. A lot of fun! I have been on the other side of the fence before. I have owned every generation of Camaro at one time or the other. Just can't get into the newest one...... Love my Stangs!
I pretty well wrench my own stuff. Recently, I was going to replace the stock original struts on the front end. The replacement 2010 GT struts were 1 3/8 inch shorter than the originals. American Muscle, where I bought the replacements, suggested the struts had been up graded to 2011 - 2014 units. I can tell you, no one has touched since new! The strut mounts look very much like Ford Racing. Anyone with insight?
