OK here we go.. 03 Mach 1

Put on an ported intake today, no problems, but to get the new one on it on easier to remove the alternator.

Put everything back together (BTW 03 machs have the alternator bracket intergrated with the water crossover so you have to break the seal onto the heads)

Anywayz got everything back on ,and we are good to go. and the battery light went on.. Everything is tight, and on good..
The alternator's spinning nice on the belt and sounds ok.. but its not charging.

Any Ideas? Alternator? Battery? Wireing?
It has 4,000 miles, so dont think its the alternator or the battery? the wireing looks ok too.. And the car is on the side of the road.. GREAT.. so any ideas or things to check

Sounds like the you have a bad connection from the altenator. Pull the connecter off and make sure there is nothing caught inside of it and make sure the red wire is good and tight. Also check your battery connection. May be loose and not know it. Best thing to do is remove the cable and reattach to ensure you have a good connection. You've got a simple bad connection somewhere I'll almost bet. Just keep tracing it out until you find it.
