Help with Cleaning up/painting Engine Bay

Ok, the prior owner of my 87 sprayed grey primer all over the engine bay and never painted it and it was a *****y job. Is there any way I can paint this without taking the bulk of everything off? It is my daily driver and I just can't have it down for days and days. Any help is appreciated! Ken

clean it very well, get a little brush and go at it, slowly, you should be able to have luck, if you do a good job taking some stuff off and trying to mask and spray
