Sorry I haven't been around. Life has been pretty busy. Since I've last posted, I've got a new job, moved to Alabama, then came back to PA, decided to go with a 351W over a 302, got a 2006 Subaru Impreza [for my daily driving and wintermobile], and I'M GOING TO BE A DADDY!

I don't know how long it's been since I've posted, but I haven't done much to the car. I recently lost 4th in my AODE [3rd one!] and am kinda upset about it because I can't afford to repair it at the moment. Anything after 80mph just shuts down and the car revs. I do not know if it's completely shot or repairable, I haven't had time to look at it.

I'm near Scranton, NEPA area. My sister is soon to be 20, has a 4 month old.



I'm going to switch to a manual if my AODE is blown, I'm tired of dealing with it.

Anyone here have information/parts needed on doing the AODE to T5 swap?

And what am I looking at as far as cost?

I believe you need the tranny, pedals, and computer (maybe not 100% on the computer). From what I've seen it's pretty easy to do yourself. There's a DIY on here that was posted a few weeks ago
