horn question

Got a small problem with the horn. When I have the ignition on and the interior lights on I try the horn and the interior lights go off in sequence with the horn being pressed. The first time i tried this there was a very small click or pop and the warning lights got brighter. Is this just a circuit breaker? I know the horn breaker is on the back of the headlight switch but how do I get the switch out?
