Sound like a good setup? She's thinking of taking out a loan, and getting this plus a tremec 3550. Would 24 or 30# injectors be better?

Sounds like a solid combo, go with the 30#, just in case she wants to spray it later. Good luck.

I added it all up, and 3500 should do, with maybe a little bit left over. Only now her car will be faster than mine.

Wouldnt count on that, never works out. I did h/c/i along with tremec 3550/scattershield/spec combo two years ago on the 302. Always forget all the small parts you need for the swap. And trust me they add up. Gaskets,new hoses,tune up, motor mounts,flywheel, ect....................................................................
