how do our engine weigh??

I have to ship a engine but im not sure how much it weighs.It will be the block with pistons,rods,and oil pan.Anyone have a idea on how much it weighs.

I heard somewhere that the complete engine is in the 500+ lb range. I would guesstimate in the 300 lb range for a shortblock.

Mine feels like it weight 16 metric tons. Or maybe my car is just slow.
