This isnt really a question, more of a rant.. Ive been trying to get my oil sending unit off to replace it, i noticed fast that turning it by hand does nothing.. So ive been trying to unscrew the bolt on the bottom with wrenches, pliers, anything.. But nothing will really fit good enough so I can turn to loosen it.. Its just a PAIN.
How do you get the oil sending unit off??

Just unscrew the arm from the block... ya' know, the long part between the block and sending unit. Then take it over to the work bench and separate the sending unit there instead of laying on your back under the car. You're ranting because you're doing it the hard way.

mine actually just kind of twisted off by hand
Really? I tried that, the top just keeps turning but the bolt doesnt.
