How does this shifter work

  1. very much an auto shifter, only up and down.... come to think of it, that would be hella cool. a sequential shifter.. like the euro m3's. just up and down ;)
  2. Oh bleep, I should have told everyone on here ages ago.

    There is an aussie invention, it is a shifter for a toploader that makes it sequential. I'll see if I can find a website.

  4. Those are neat, my cousin and her husband had a similar one on their big block Nova
  5. That's a ratchet shifter for an automatic. I have the B&M Hammer shifter that is very similiar. You push the shifter handle forward to advance from 1st to 2nd and the shifter handle springs back to the same position. Then you push it forward again to shift from 2nd to 3rd, etc. It's great for drag racing because you can't accidently shift from 1st to 3rd.
