How loose should the Throwout bearing be?

My throwout bearing fits loose. There is alot of play it does not fit snuggly to the nose cone. How should it fit on a 1966 4 speed side loader?

It should be a slip fit, but not sloppy. It should slide back and forth without effort. Side Loader? Must be a BW T-10. Haven't been able to check on shipping on the rear, the guy I deal with has been closed for the holidays. I'll try again on Monday
