How much should this engine cost?

Hey guys, im buying a used engine from my friend. Its a stock bottom end with around 56k miles on it. It also has aluminum gt40x heads and I beleive a B cam. It also has the black and silver cobra valve covers. How much is this engine worth? my friend wants like 750 for it. Is that a good deal?

Sounds decent, considering it's a full engine with the heads....sell what you don't need from it, or sell your own engine, and you'll make back some of the money you spent on that

I just found out more about the engine. Its a 98 explorer block, with gt40x heads and a B cam. Are there any differences between the explorer block and the mustang block? im mainly concerned about different piston's leading to higher compression, as Im going to put my supercharger on it.

Also, how much rwhp should it be good for with the 9# pulley on?
