Fox How To Clean White Crap Off Steering Wheel?

I'm new to stangnet, so Hi. Looking forward to contributing to this forum.

What's your secret to removing the white film that finds it's way into the textured pattern from our perspiration/salt?

Using an old tooth brush, here's my failed list;

Simple Green
WD 40
Naphtha
Mineral Spirits

I don't want to use anything too strong that it would attack the rubber or plastic.

Vinagre worked great. Time to detail!
