How to know what year Fuel Pump to buy?

I have a 1965 Ford Mustang that I put a 302 in back in the early 2000's. The fuel pump went out I believe. From my memory the 302 was a 1970's model and I am wondering if there is a way to tell what year engine I have so I can buy the fuel pump to match my fuel line hook up?

They all interchange for 289 302 ,you will need one with the correct line fittings for your car
