how to put a automatic into a manual car

I have a 1998 mustang saleen and it has a tremec tko 600.64 manual transmission. I want to put a automatic into the car. how can i do this and what would be the best automatic transmission to put in it?

how much power are you going to make?

at near stock levels to around 450rwhphp, a slightly moddified 4r70w should be fine.

over 500rwhp you'll definetley want either a built 4r70w or a built C4. the C4 requires modification to fit the shifter.

as for the swap itself, if you want a 4r70w, then you can just swap with someone who has a 98-04 automatic and retune the computer. the C4 requires some fabrication.
