Like it says before you flame me I know not many would agree I'm just asking what I need to change or go back to to be able to run the 15 drag life's so I can do the bigs and little s. It's a 90 lx with a sn95 front brakes up up with the red 95 cobra calipers at all 4 corners. Front brakes are 13 inches. What do I need to do to run 15's I honestly don't like to run 17 or 18 inch rims like I'd have to with this set up. Thanks

15x9.75, 6.5" bs Bogart DOSIII's

or

17x4.5" Weld Alumastar 2.0's

They are pricey though.

If you want to change brake hardware....I'd prob recommend the 99-04 GT brakes with the 2-piston calipers. 10.8" rotors and calipers will fit under 15" rims. Pretty good clamping force.

You didn't mention what rear brakes and MC you have installed. This would make a difference

I still have the stock master cylinder and booster in there as the previous owner did not finish the swap completely. The rear brakes are the original equipment ones that came on the sn95 rear he put in the car. I keep seeing either the 93 cobra master cylinder and booster or the 94-95 cobra booster and master are good choices. But I'm open to opinions because this 5 lug stuff is all new to me

Do you know what diameter the rear brakes are??

11.65" are the cobra rear brakes and 10.5" are the GT/V6 rear brakes. They use the same calipers, so ultimately it doesn't matter.

Do you have two choices really.

1994-1998 GT/V6 single piston calipers and 10.8 rotors
94-95 GT/V6 Master cylinder
Either 1993 cobra booster or any 94-95 booster

OR

99-04 GT or V6 2-piston calipers and 10.8" rotors
1993 CObra MC
Either 1993 cobra booster or any 94-95 booster

If you keep your current cobra brakes and buy the rims to clear them, you need to identify the year of the calipers. 94-98 Cobra calipers are ribbed around the piston bores, while 99=04 Cobra brakes are smooth around the bores.

94-98 Cobra calipers will require thw 94-95 Cobra MC
99-04 Cobra calipers should use the slightly larger 1993 Cobra MC.

So...you have some choices.
