I have a centerforce clutch (new) it chatters after warmup..any1 else?

thats what my king cobra used to do, one day i got so sick of it that i brake torque it, (mind u its a stick lol) and ever since then its barely noticeable, almost gone except in reverse....I'm not saying u should go do that but i thought it was interesting that it helped and i dont know y..

I don't know if it still applies to the materials the disks are made from these days
but back in the 60's and 70's all the gearheads I knew broke in a new clutch
with real easy kind of driving for 100 miles or so before beating on it.

Then for the next couple hundred miles ...
you kinda started to work it harder as the miles passed

These were typical aftermarket types of clutches for street and strip use.
You know ... much more holding power than OEM but not all out race.
They were long style clutches and V E R Y hard to put on the floor.
