Just about every Facebook group ends up being more trouble than it's worth. Ask a simple question and get insulted and have 7 memes posted before anyone answers..: they are good for buying and selling... that's about it.

Definitely sounds like some place I should stay away from.

I avoid FB entirely because of the risk of identity theft and the fact they can sell all the personal data that you enter to anyone who has enough $$$ to get their attention.

Too much personal info posted on FB can make you a target for all sorts of bad guys...Someone asks you about your vacation plans and you make the mistake of giving specifics. You come home from vacation and find your house ransacked...They've been watching you for a while and have harvested the info needed to find out where you live and what sort of toys you have.

Skip tracers love fb, can't count the times we've caught cars that an idiot posted a pic of his ride parked in front of his house or told someone about going someplace and BAM, they are looking for a ride home.
