Any one have suggestions on a better IAT or MAT sensor, I keep killing these every few months? You can see the two wires that sit in the end of the sensor are missing and when it fails data logs show 69.9ºF all day long.

I'd stick with Ford.

I went as far to hop on ebay and try and find some old stock NOS motorcraft parts. A lot of the aftermarket stuff these days (sometimes included new motorcraft) is just junk

Im considering moving the IAT to the super charger discharge tube and maybe to use one of the newer/faster reacting ones like the GM version. I see mixed reviews on moving it, but the stock location seems to get heat soaked while in the staging lanes.

There is a way to deal with the heatsoaked sensor with the MS system. I can show you how to do it, pretty simple.

now moving the sensor is going to require a small amount of retuning, due to the MAT based fuel trims. I do advocate for moving the sensor and using a newer GM style sensor.
