only accurate if you have a GOOD wideband......those standard widebands and guages are not accurate, or even fast enough to tune with,...

that being said, your question has MANY correct answers.


for N/A, shoot for 12.9-13.5 at WOT.

for some heads, you can go as lean as 15:1-16:1 at cruise, low load.......but shoot for no richer than 13.5:1 IMHO



you have anywhere from light throttle, to wide open........

and we have not even talked about naturally aspirated, or forced induction, or nitrous yet.......

For WOT/hard throttle n/a I like to shoot for a low 13 across and work it's way down to a high 12 up top.

For part throttle cruise my car is usually between 14-15.5.

I use an anderson PMS and a GOOD datalogging wideband.
