Greetings! I'm new to this site, and wanted to throw around some ideas for feedback. First let me introduce my mustang..

90 Mustang GT
Newly installed ATK 347 stroker
Jack Roush heads
supercharger 60 pound injectors 10lb of boost
forged pistons
355 gears
trickflow intake
center force dual friction clutch

Right now I have these huge 20 inch cobra replica rims (from previous owner) that I'm looking to replace with the rts-s71 17s. After doing some research, these rims definitely don't come cheap especially factoring in the 5-lug conversion I want to do as well. With this style rim being fairly old, are there any other rims to look out for that would look good? Any recommendations on changing my current setup? I'm not looking to turn it into a track car, but definitely love the weekend rides burning up some tires lol.

I've been thinking about selling my car, in search of a 03 04 cobra.. Thoughts?

Welcome to the forum.

The sad reality is everyone is moving away from the 4 lug wheels. There are way more brake and wheel options in 5 lug.

Most fox mustang people shy away from 20s. I have 18s on my car and couldn't imagine going to a bigger wheel.

With that much power under the hood you really should consider 5 lug swapping the car to 94 95 spindles up front and, at least, cobra brakes. The rear can be upgraded to 5 lug Moser axles and sn95 disc rear brakes.

Going fast is great...being able to stop is even better.

Thanks for the input. I'm definitely interested in switching out the wheels and getting a good set of brakes. Like I said, I inherited the 20s from the previous owner. I've been eyeing the rts-s71, but heard mix reviews about easily being warped/bent. I want to redo the car the right way, and know a solid foundation is key. Eventually I'll be looking to upgrade my current blower (Powerdyne), as it only provides 10lbs of boost.
