first off, is there any reason why i should not use the stock lifters in my completely fresh motor?

SRP .60 over pistons
twisted wedge heads
track heat intake.
and more..

im unsure exactly how many miles are on them since the motor had an E303 cam installed in it...(date unknown) and when the motor finally took a **** the odometer now reads like 100,300miles so we'll just say that they have 100K on them.

i sprayed them off with brake cleaner and re-oiled them, they seem ok, they look ok, they roll smooth....

anyhoo which direction do they go in? on one side of them there is a hole, i assume that is for oil to lubricate them, i installed them so that the holes are all facing the inside of the block rather than the pistons, just using some common sense that if that is for lubrication, the oil will start out at a high point and gravity will allow it to work its way down. :nice: or :notnice:
