ive brought the car to the dealer 3 times and every time they tell me the thing is working but its to cold out for the intercooler to get hot, i think its B.S., the thing dosent move
it stays at the bottom, wat temp does your run at?
btw its an 02 s281 sc

on my 01 i had that problem it never moved, it freaked me out when one time it did, thats the only time it did. they are bsin you. go get some autometer gauges. i have a pair of those and they work sweet.
 
Since you acquired the car, has the needle ever fluctuated?

To check if the circuit is working, disconnect the sending wire from the temperature sender located on the underside of the intercooler reservoir. Then touch the ring terminal on the end of the wire to ground. The needle should immediately sweep all the way to the right. If it doesn’t, there is an open in the circuit somewhere, in the wiring, at a connection point or possibly in the gauge itself.
