Is anyone here from northern CA?

There is a slim possibility that I will be moving to the south bay area from Texas. I'm worried about how the car will handle this. She can barely make it up the Texas hills, I know she won't be able to make it up those CA hills.

Is it difficult to get our cars in compliance with smog requirements?

I noticed a certain dearth of fox bodies while I was up there. I hope that's not a bad sign for me.

hehe, welcome to the smog state. Not positive on n-cali stuff, but a stock 2.3n/a wont have much trouble passing if its running ok. I'd keep an eye on your tanny and water level's if you gonna be pulling those hills
