Is it my clutch or something else?

i have a 97 GT 5 spd. ive had it for a few months. and it is sometimes very hard to get it into reverse. ive done the 1st to reverse thing and some of the other gears to reverse. ive done everything i can think of. i pulled up on the clutch but it doesnt do anything. im not sure if it is the clutch or cable or what. can someone help. thanks.

Actually I had that problem too, my friends would laugh at me, because I just started learning standard. Sometimes it goes realllllly easy, and sometimes I have to play around with it. I'm getting a new clutch soon, and I'll inform you if it fixes the problem! But im sure other members will reply if it's easy or not.

yea thanks. i hope buying a new clutch will fix the problem. please inform me when you get it installed.
