Just failed a smog test due to this part.

Not to dig up a old thread. But how the hell do you test the red/white wire to test the tab valve and the red wires live? Its either you test the white wire. Or the red wire. Or do you test the red wire from the tab with the white wire from the tad. Because the tab has a red wire and white wire and the tad has a red wire and white wire. So confusing because in this post it says to NOT test the red wire because u can fry your injectors. So can we clarify on this. Is it the red wire you ground out to test the tab solenoid. Or is it the white wire from the tab to the red wire on the tad. Hopefully u can see my confusion because i feel like a total dumbass asking this
