I have just read this. I though you might be interested in this article.

Note that the man who has driven the first 64 mustang off the line in Dearborn also drove the last.. Quite a honor!

I was at the event as part of the press. It was a very emotional experience. Just about every worker that had worked at DAP was in attendance and followed the Mustang down the line. The press, including myself, were able to walk with the car as it came off the line. I have a few pictures and some video that I will post a link to at a later time.
