So is that a better option to do vs the spacer kit?
Does the same thing technically.
If your stock ball joints have never been replaced, do the 94/95 ball joints.
I bought a ball joint press which is useful now and then for other things like u joints at harbor freight for like $35 a few years ago.

Cool I’ll look into it. So checked out rock auto do you as far as hub assembly does it matter which ones you go with? They have some under economy and standard.

Me personally unless something feels wrong when you spin it, I probably wouldn't do the hub bearings. I find that factory original is almost always more reliable than after it's been messed with when it comes to bearings.

Gotcha, they don’t feel bad at all, spin smoothly, just need to get some lug nut bolts for the ones missing, can I use some off my 4 lugs?

Ok...so...apparently in 2016 I came across a 94 and a 95 mustang in the junk yard. I checked the manufacturing dates on the door stickers.

The spindles i had on my previous car were 98 spindles. The ones I plucked up were the ones off the 94. The spindles I put on my car are somehow wrong... and the ones i had were the bent style ones that should have been on the 94. The 96+ spindles came off of the 94..... and 94 spindles came off the 98 that I sourced my master cylinder from.

I really hate misinformation. I actually had to search through my build thread and found it on page 5. Wish someone corrected me then :O_o:

Either way, I've been corrected....:bang:

Now, I've got to get these nicely painted garbages off of my car... and source correct 94 -95 spindles. This sucks a little. I gave the other ones to the scrap man. :mad::mad::mad:

For the most part, it doesn't make much of a difference. There's a couple parts that have to be swapped. I think those were outlined already.

Mine have the curve in them. They are still sitting on the shop floor waiting on... me. I cut the k-member and rear end out of a 1996 V6 and pulled off all the pieces and parts in my driveway. At least of them was swapped at some point as I have one with the ring on it and one without.

Well cleaned them up a little, just some simple green, wire brush and some power wash. Now to buy some new studs and get to work. I’m sure I’ll be reposting in here for some help as I have never done this before, so don’t get annoyed with me!! :crazy:

For a little more then that ball joint spacer kit you can buy motorcraft oem 94/95 ball joints from rock auto .
Would you recommend any of these? If I install these 94/95 ball joints then I would not need those spacers correct? Also are these the dust shields I would need and is there anywhere else to get them cheaper?
