Lets talk about cams... I've left a couple messages for Brian Freezy but haven't heard back yet. Besides a custom grind what are you boosted guys running?
He was away at NMRA race this weekend. Email or phone ? I can reach out to him

I use xe282hr Comp Cam. Low vacuum at idle below 1k. Had to use a vacuum pump for power brake booster. Turbo 331...TW heads. I will be getting in touch with Freezy when its time for the Dart block.

Speaking of camshafts...what the heck is a 1/2, 3/4 or full cam ? Older guys ( over 60 ) keep asking me if I have a 3/4 ( thre qwarta ) cam.

lol ya thats from the 50's cams were limited and mostly higher lift was the only difference from stock. think stage 1, 2, 3 which is also not a helpful description...

Quick update. Cam should be here in a week or so. Block and crank should be done this week. Started putting the rods/pistons together. Definitely going with a tko 600. Not sure I’ll get all the upgrades but we’ll see, that’ll be the last thing I order. Clutch Ram HD or McLeod twin disc street. Huge price difference between the two...

Hanlon Motorsports just built my TKO600 and supplied a RAM clutch. Everything was just shy of 4500...thats everything to put it in the car with all hardware...upgrades to TKO...and Stiffler cross member.

Looking at reviews online I wouldn't buy one without the shift mods. Makes it a lot better than right out of the box.

Picked up the block and crank today. Gave the block a good hot soapy water scrubbing and blew it off and oiled it down
