Lifter question.

I swapped in my roller cam today and as i was checking all the followers i noticed that some of the lifters compress a little when the cam lobe opens the valve, and some dont. I am assuming that the ones that dont move are probably bad, How much are the lifters supposed to compress and should i remove and replace the ones that dont? I figured i could just snag some out of the mustang motor and throw them in if need be. Anything else i should do before i button up the top end of this motor?

Also are there any bolts that go into oil passages or anything on the head that i should seal before installing (manifold, vc bolts, etc...)

Actually, I'd say the ones that don't compress are just still full of oil. The ones that do compress have probably just "bled down" and had some of the oil come out of them. I could be wrong though.
