I recently had 4.10 frpp gears and an eaton limited slip diff installed on my 07 GT and the mechanic said that I needed to put regular fluid in for maintenance instead of synthetic which it originally had. Is this correct and is there any other maintenance I need to pull that the dealership wont for checkups?

I've heard some guys recommending "dino" oil for the break in and than swapping it out for synthetic. I've always just used synthetic, done the heat cycles, changed the fluid again and it's always been fine.
