Hello all,

I had a strange Problem lately, i have installed in my Mustang 06 GT the Steeda Control Plates and Pullleys and a week later the Steeda CAI with the upgraded Intake Tube.

I have installed the CAI and tube myself the rest has been done by my garage.

After installing the CAI and retuning the Computer with the X-Cal 2 SF from Steeda (93 Octane Tune, Steeda CAI, IMRC Disabled options) seems all were good, i managed a short trip and no problem even at high speeds and rpms..

But on my second trip i was at full throttle in third gear and then
suddenly (i think at 4000 rpm) the motor has stop to pull and the
check engine light has appeared on the dash board.
After a few seconds the light has turn off and i managed to come home
slowly (40mph because i was worried that could happen again).

I reported the problem to Steeda and they asked to read the Trouble Code, but im wondering since the light is off i think the trouble code is no more present, or it remain stored ? if its gone it means i should try to reproduce it with the xcal attached and when it happens to read the code very fast before it goes away ? i'm not so sure that i want to reproduce it because im worried that this can damage the motor...
Do you have an idea what the problem can be (bad installation of the CAI ? bad tune ?)
