Locks won't lock correctly!?!:bang:

So this morning I go to lock my car via the key fob and the locks won't lock. I hear the mechanism click but the locks never go down. They unlock fine via the fob and manually from the switch insided the car - the damn things just will not lock unless I physically push the pins down. I already have my service appointment scheduled but wasn't sure if anyone has heard of this crazy **** happening before?

On my Mazda 5 (which uses Mustang handles LOL), if the boot isn't shut properly or the contacts are obstructed by a mat or something, the car won't lock. So check all the shuts and contacts are clear.
