I am needing to add more fuel to the fire. I currently have 2 extra walboro fuel pumps. I currently am running a 255lph fuel pump with a bap which isnt getting the job done. Considering money is an issue, what would be the best way to proceed. Do I buy the wiring harness and a modified fpdm and install a second pump in the tank or could I just do an inline bosch fuel pump. Both applications would cost about the same. The inline pump would be simple to install compared to making a custom fuel hat/basket. Has anyone used an inline bosch pump?

I wouldn't do an in-line pump since the in-tank pump and pick-up will most likely be a restriction for the downstream pump. If the restriction is bad enough you could get cavitation at its inlet, causing vapor lock and fuel starvation.
