So my 1995 mustang 5.0 is making some pretty gnarly popping sounds when doing low speed maneuvers . The rear wheels are 12 inches wide , it has the 8.8 rear end with lsd. I've been told by several people that it's fine it's just the lsd working but I can't get over it , it makes me cringe. My grandfather told me I can pull the cover off the diff and adjust the lsd with an Allen key but I think he's mistaken. Any help would be greatly appreciated guy. Also not new to "forums" but new to this one so Howdy!

OH! A Limited Slip Differential! Not the other LSD! I was worried!
There should not be popping from a stock Ford limited slip clutch system. There should not be any adjustment with an Allen wrench either.
Now there is a non stock type that ratchets around corners but locks up like a mini spool the rest of the time. Any idea if it is a stock differential?
