Well I was looking at my main support and realized...hmmm this doesnt look like it will clear my stock pan! What pan can I use or do I have to buy one of those expensive large volume pans? Its a Probe style girdle! Help me out here guys!!!!

Are the studs hitting or the pan itself....

The larger girdles require aftermarket pans, I like the Cantons myself around $260 for the kit (pan, pick-up, dip stick)

Is it the 93 pan?? Get one from 87 through I think 90. They are made alittle different in the center section between the sumps. The new years have a slight slant on the outer edges that hits the support. Had the same problem when putting a DSS support on a car. Got an older pan and had no problems...

Even with my Canton oil pan on my 408 my MSS studs still hit a little bit. I used a small socket and tapped it from the inside to dent it outwards. That cleared the studs enough for it to pull down.
Before you bolt everything back together make sure to check your oil pump pickup to oil pan clearance.
