McLeod bearings?

I bought a McLeod Super StreetPro clutch and it came with a throwout bearing and a pilot bearing and I wondered if anyone had used their bearings before? People seem to have problems with these bearings all the time, thats why I'm asking now. Thanks guys

I have one and it is horrible. Probably took 500 miles before it started making noise. I would get a ford replacement if I were you.

i have a spec stage2 clutch.....it hasn't gone into my car yet. any word on the TOB that comes with it? i heard the ford one was trash so i was reluctant to go with the ford one.

I've heard of a ridiculous amount of trouble from pretty much all the after market throw out bearings including Spec and Centerforce. I was hoping that McLeod was different, but apparently they are no better. I have never heard that the Ford bearings are trash, seems odd considering most peoples stock ones last well over 50k miles. I decided to go pick up a ford throw out bearing and pilot bearing tomorrow.

Ford TOB is the only one I would put in the car.

Ford OEM is the best TOB to use. The ones that come in the kits(Spec, McCleod) are usually junk and wont last long.

i found this one at summit i dont know if its any good though. i know there is a difference between the ford stuff and the ford racing stuff, but i dont know what.
