Hello everyone. I am new to the forum as a user but have been viewing threads for some time. Here's my problem. I just bought a 1973 Mach 1. When I got it there wasn't a driver side mirror. I have the housing, but it has no mirror. I purchased a mirror from ebay (sport mirror with remote), but the base is incorrect, it's shorter than what I need. Does anyone know of a way to get the mirror assembly out of its housing without cutting the wires? I really don't want to get another mirror, but I'm afraid I'll have to.HELP!
