Misfire

I got this brilliant idea that I would hose down my engine before going to cars and coffee this morning.
So now my engine seems like it's missing and makes kind of a ticking sound at idle. I put my Bama tuner on it and I got the P1000 code.
The tuner won't reset it. Is there a chance it will dry up and take care of itself, or am I going to have to change coils packs and plugs?

You won't be able to erase the P1000 and it's not related to your misfire. You probably reconnected the battery recently and haven't driven the car enough under the right condition for the PCM to perform all of its internal "monitor readiness" tests (emissions stuff like evap, O2 sensors and the like.)

I agree with wmburns: pull the coil packs and use a compressed-air source to blow out the plug wells to forcibly remove any water that got down in there. Repeat for the coils themselves (make sure there's no water up inside.) Smear some dielectric grease on the inside of the snout of the coil and re-install them.
