I did mine without splitting the box, I did a writeup in my build thread. basically dremeled and made a flap then used a bit of silicon and some ties to hold it shutGot all the wiring done on the engine. I guess I’ve reached the point where I have to do the heater core.... I’ve watched a few videos and have a game plan. Hopefully I can get it pretty quickly and everything goes smoothly.
These guys did it by swinging the dash away and removing the lid. I’ll check out your write up too. Remember mines factory no a/c so it may be different.I did mine without splitting the box, I did a writeup in my build thread. basically dremeled and made a flap then used a bit of silicon and some ties to hold it shut
On a factory no AC car I thought dash removal wasn't necessary?I’m about an hour and a half tops into this. That’s getting tools together and inspecting and getting a game plan. Having some coffee and I’ll put it back together. So far not bad at all as long as I don’t have wires unplugged somewhere
Only on pre 87. I have the same airbox just no evapOn a factory no AC car I thought dash removal wasn't necessary?
