Hey all. Completely new here so I apologize if this is in the wrong section or has been answered already but I'm looking for specifics.

I have a 2009 V6 with a completely stock exhaust system right now. I'm simply looking to add a little sound by installing a muffler...a Flowmaster Super 44. I'm not sure whether I should be getting a 2.25 or 2.5 inlet muffler to fit the stock piping. Also, should both sides be offset? Complete noob here lol. If I missed any important details let me know. Thanks!

Welcome to Stangnet ,
In all honesty,I don't know what the factory pipe size is or wether it needs to be offset or not, I'm sure some one else on here will chime in with that info lol.
In the mean time, my recomendations would be; if you want to keep the single exhaust, maybe consider taking it to a muffler shop and having them weld it in.then they can figure out size, offset etc..
My other suggestion would be buying a cat back/dual exhaust kit from flow master and installing it.
Again welcome to Stangnet
