So I finally got my car swapped from the t5 to c4 and got it down to the track. The fastest pass the car made with the t5 was 13.00@107mph with a 265/50/15 street tire. I swapped out the 265/50/15 tires for a set of 26/8.5/15 Mickey Thompson slicks. And traded the old smash box t5 in for the c4. And am I ever happy with the end result, for a converter I decided that go with 10" 3400 stall locally built converter that's behind my little HO 302. The fastest pass was 12.82@106mph. Let me know what everyone thinks of the old turd.

Very nice.

p.s. For the first time ever, I can now launch my Mustang in 1st gear with full throttle and it only spins the tires for about 20 feet, and then lifts the front left tire off the ground. A few weeks ago, I installed 255/40r17 Toyo Proxes R888 tires on the back. I've never had a tire grab so hard before.
If you're not worried about tire life, try a set. They are dot rated, so you can use them on the street.
