fostang, you either need to triangulate or put a panel in your radiator support to give it some shear strength. Welding up the seams stiffens the chassis. It's a old rally car trick. It really helps alot more then you would think.


I like to put a little humor into my response. Yes I did weld them.


I'm still not done with the front. Once I have picked the radiator I will add the side panels. Then where the battery once was I need to calculate an opening for the airfilter.

Yeah, I thought as much. It sounded sarcastic, but I'd hate to see you just leave it open like that. :shrug: I figured I'd coment to be sure. Great job BTW. I did my convertion about 6 months ago....but I'm as far as you are now heh. I had to deside what engine I wanted to use and I've made a few alterations to the original design (Rod & Custom Kit) Keep the pics comming. Again great job! :hail2:
