Mustang Wins Again

Let me get this straight. BMW, Mercedes and Ford have the same chance to build these Racecars.They start from a stock frame and I am sure other shelf parts for the rules. And the Ford Mustang wins! Am I still missing something?

PS. I know in real life it is not only the #'s of the stockers. Maybe just what you get for the price!
