need 1/8th mile time for a stock 5.0

I ran my 94 when it was bone stock to the whooping ET of 10.03 @69mph. Granted the SN95s are a tad heavier (I think 400 lbs +/-) than the foxes. Given that people say that each 100 lbs shaved is worth .1 of a second, Id say a bone stock fox should run about 9.6-9.7 @ around 71-72 mph. BUT... a few years ago this girl shows up at the track with a stock stang (so she claims)except 3 chamber flowmaster catbacks and busted out with a 9.3? @ 73 mph. She had racing exp so Im guessing that was the reason for the lower ET but close to the right mph.

I had a bone stock 5 speed 89 gt with 226,000 miles that ran a 9.54 in the 1/8th (I can't remember the mph). The car's only mod was a removed silencer. It still had 2.73's and all. I only made one pass and bogged it terribly. I think it would have run a 9.4 pretty easy.

Not totally stock kinda close...the 95 went 8.5 on the drs and 8.9 on street tires @ 80...my old 89 with the same mods went 8.9 on street tires and 8.6 on slicks @79 and 78 mph....weird how that works with the times comparing the car and the 89 was about 200 lbs lighter....i'm not a great driver either IMO
