I have a Bassani 3" catted mid pipe on my GT500 that right now goes to a 3" Bassani axle back. I want to put the stock mufflers back on which I believe are 2.5". I am highly confused as to what exactly I need to do this. I've seen some reducers, but I'm not sure exactly how they connect the pipes together. Do they need to be welded, or can I jack up the Shelby and swap the axle back out myself? Thanks in advance!
