I'm replacing my rear deck speakers, how do I remove the fuzzy thing above the rear deck. It seems to be stuck on mine, is there any special trick?

I'm replacing my rear deck speakers, how do I remove the fuzzy thing above the rear deck. It seems to be stuck on mine, is there any special trick?

On my 2003 - here's what I had to do...

1) fold down rear seats

2) remove 3 screws that hold on the trim piece that runs in front of the rear deck

3) unbolt the shoulder belt and let hang

4) Remove coat hook

5) Remove the pillar trim piece - watch for the snaps

6) Lift rear deck liner from front to release 3 (i think) guide pins - then grab left edge (where you removed the trim panel) and pull up and out - it'll swing right out. you have to get the left edge out from underneath the piece of trim.
