Need help deciding on a cam

Hey I was just wondering what type/size cam fits in a stock 1984 1/2 gt350. When I look on lmr and American muscle all it shows are cams for 1985 and up

You need to convert to a roller cam. That means retainer and dogbones and roller lifters in addition to the cam.

As to what cam to go with...depend on your combo.

Or find a roller block and save that original engine since it came in the car. came
does it need rebuilding?

keep in mind you have to remove the heads to drop them in
I’m going through this process now because my short block (1978) has never been ran and built by reputable short block builder.
I just couldn’t move forward with my bill before converting to a more modern cam grind with roller lifters
