I recently found out that my cars struts are broken and just floating around inside the casing. After putting new 17's on it also rides approx 9" off the ground. I figured that i'd try kill 2 birds with one stone and get some lowering springs and struts/shocks that would go along with that. So far the most affordable kit i can find is the FRPP Handling Kit (springs/struts/shocks/sway bars). Do you guys have any better ideas as to which route i should choose for the car? I need this stuff replaced ASAP because my car needs an alignment bad and cant get aligned til i replace the struts. Is the FRPP kit the best route when im on a tight budget or do you have any other reccomendations as to the springs/struts/shocks i should get?

So far it seems like that in my searches, bilsteins struts and shocks alone cost 600 on mustangtuning. Please tell me there are more options than just the FRPP kit that are affordable! Thanks!

well being as any money spent on the suspension right now is money i didnt plan on spending until next summer....id say like 500 would be a nice MAX. My funds are running extremely low at the moment. Give or take a couple dollars on that but 500 is the general range and 600 would be absolute maximum for sure.

Yea FRPP kit would be it. Or go out and price shop like I did.

I did mine for about a grand. Included in the picture below are Steeda springs, Isolators, Bushings, bumpsteer kit, Pro3i Lower/Upper Control Arms, and caster camper plates.

If you researched you probally could find the springs for ess then $250

and the shocks struts for are different story. probably going to spent about $300-$400. However you could do grabiel or monroe shocks as a temp fix and a year or two do the tokico or blistens

Since you would have them apart the isolators would be wise to replace.
